I recently went to the Gucci store to purchase a headband and the sales associate suggested a different option. He recommended getting a scarf as you can wear it multiple ways. It wasn’t easy to explain but I tried to write out the steps.
How to make a scarf into a headband:
1- Lay the scarf flat
2- Fold two corners into the center
3- Then take take each folded side and fold toward the middle twice.
4- There should be two folded sides that meet in the middle. Fold one side on top of the other to made one straight line.
5- Grab each side on one end and place the middle of the scarf on the back of your head.
6- Cross the ends in the front and then wrap your one hand over the other so they are on opposite sides from when you started. (I know it is a little confusing but if you watch the video it is it much easier to follow along.)
7- Tie the remaining scarf ends in the back of your head.
I love wearing my headbands on the outside of my hair but you can also tie the scarf under your hair for a more traditional headband look.
